of ash wednesday and cravings.

i don't know why.
any day i want to eat stuff.
i don't feel like eating.
the one day that require fast and abstinence from meat.
i get cravings to eat all kinds of food.
like carrot cake. or chicken porridge.
sheesh.
hahahahas.

i guess it aint really a sacrifice
if you don't really care if you get to eat it.

ohh. and AC milan drawed 0-0 with Celtic !
i hope they win in the second leg.

greetings!

i am currently at my relative's house typing this.
was practising maths (ten year series)
but decided to take a 15 minutes break.
heehee.

the com screen is super big and clear can.
and somehow, the font looks better too.
wow. wow.
so so so nice.
i want also!

anyway, an update on CNY holiday/celebration.
yesterday, went to church for mass.
after which we went to SFX to visit my grandma and grandpa.
and then we made our way to my mom's mom place.
it's our tradition.
to go there first thing on that day.
and eat yummy yummy fried carrot cake,
and sweet cake (nian gao) and many many other food.
heeehee.
had like a great great breakfast.
too bad i only get to eat them around once a year.
so i told my mom to learn to make.
hahahas.

last night was a popiah feast at my mom's relative side.
cause they only served popiah and bbq.
but obviously everyone was crowding around the bbq right.
so only popiah for me.
=(
but then, my cousins taught me to play bridge.
and i sort of got it. i think.
hahahahas.
but i'll probably forget how to play by next year.

today, i spent the whole day in this house.
my dad's relative side.
to study. for like 30 minutes.
before surrendering to temptation.
the temptation came in the form of an XBOX console,
with like 10 over games beside it.
YES. so sad, how technology is totally controlling us.
weak weak weak me.

thing to note though.
i notice how when it's CNY,
people still greet each other in english.
like not "xing nian kuai le"
but "happy new year"
it's it ironic?

but now, i should get back to ~~studying~~ practising maths.
poor poor me.

the curse of CNY.

i think i'm jinxed.
i don't know why, every year,
during this period.
before, during and after chinese new year,
i get sort of sick.
either fever, cough, flu-like symptoms.
this year, i've got a splitting headache.
wow. my body is getting more creative ehh.

oh wells.

i'm watching SUPERNATURAL now.

and it's ~~damn~~ freaking scary can.

but the actors are cute,

and the story/plot is very good.

which is pretty much why i'm watching it.

despite my headache.

plus the fact that, well, i'm not very sleepy

considering i slept in the afternoon already.

heehee.

let's just hope this year,

the headache's the only thing i'll get.

booyah!

i didn't get to donate blood today!
cause they couldn't find my blood vessel.
my lousy lousy hands
i am so weak.
hummph.
ohh wells.
at least i sort of tried.

ohhhh.
a very funny thing happen just now.
jolyn and i were supposed to go downstairs to wait
for my aunt and uncle to collect CNY stuff.
and we were debating who should carry it up
(yes, i know. we're super lazy)
on our way down the stairs.

me: you carry okay!
jolyn: you carry! you older ehh. you know what is "孔荣让利"?
me: so?
jolyn: so i 让 you carry what. you are 利 what.
me: ...

[for those who don't understand: there was this story, more like a moral story thingy. it's a long story, but i'll just cut it short. there was this little boy 孔荣 who sacrificed his big pear (利) and gave it to his older brother.]

which then i said, after the 5 seconds of utter shock,
"the older brother is not 利. 利 is the pear."

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
we laughed all the rest of the way down can.
the neighbours must have thought we were mad.
but it was super super funny.
sheeeesh.
and i thought my chinese was lousy.
hahahas.

so now, as a joke, i call her 孔荣
and call myself 利.

just saw the CT timetable.

today's cat class was really funny.
on account on how my sec 1s were trying
to convince me that the construction sign

was actually a "gold digger".

it was hilarious can.
sec 1s are super innocent and cute can.
but clowns and jokers i tell you.
the guys i mean.
the girls are nice. and normal.
hahas.

and!
i finally mustered the courage to wear dangling earrings!
yay! so so so happy!
finally after like 1 year?
heehee.

anyway, went to buy new clothes today.
quite successful.
quite lahh.

ohhhh.
something random.
i made a gold rose out of the wrapper from
the ferrero rocher choc.
like from the advertisement!
so cool right.

so tired.
i've finally finished my portion for the cat class wb.
and it's what? 11.30pm.
good morning half an hour in advanced.

anyway,
CJC annual X-country was today.
4.2km ~~run~~ walk at macritche.
heehee.
it was kinda fun.
not the walking part.
the announcements/prize giving part.

then went to joyce house to do econs WWP.
hahaahahas.
stayed until like going to 9 plus.
then cab back with cheryl and fabian.
and because we had only $7.70 altogther.
(both of them had dropped already)
i had to tell the uncle to stop at a random bus-stop
cause the fare was already $7.70!
ahahhas.

he wanted to give me a free ride.
but i said no.
cause it would be quite bad for him,
he's making a living too.
and it was actually still quite far
around 5/6 bus-stops more?

and so i got out at $7.80
and he said he'll absorb the 10 cents
so nice of him!
and waited for the bus to go home.
hahhas.
it was kinda funny.

anyway, i'm super super tired now.
and i hven't done lit essay
and tie the string for the chinese lantern yet.

heehee.
i'm doing my workbook for cat class now.
managed to chiong maths revision in like 20 minutes.
hahahas.
so smart right.
so gonna fail CA lor.

ohhhhhhh.
have to blog about what happened today at religion class.
the guy who sits beside me for religion actually told me
that we were from the same kindergarden!
St Francis Xiavier Seminary.
and it turns out that we were in the same cat class too.
i was like " OMG. really?!"
hahas.
and he was going on and on about how i looked the same.
and how i had a very good friend who had small eyes.
which i totally didn't know.

the worse part is that i totally had no idea who he was
(before this conversation)
or remember anything about him with regards to kindergarden!
or cat class for that matter.

i am such a lousy classmate/schoolmate/ human being.
hahahas.

i must remember to ask him more about kindergarden
since, due to my super STM, i have totally no recollection of it.
and i mean at all.
except probably, how ugly the uniform looked.

i think i should go dig up some kindergarden photos
to look for his face.
and my ex-good friend who had small eyes.
heehee.

my throat has been so itchy throughout the whole day.

Kaegan's 1st birthday celebration
i found out yesterday that kegan is actually called kaegan !
as in not kegan kang, kegan.
but KAEGAN.
(thought he's as handsome as kegan kang)
wow. so dumb of me.
i wrote his name wrongly on his Xmas present.
so mah lu.

the bday cake.
which was super creamy.
but the chocolate cake section was superb!

IHM sec 1 games day 2007
today's games day was fun!
though not many turned up.
out of 80, only 40 plus?
hahas.

it was kinda different from last year's one thought.
cause all the games were held inside the hall.
so no water games.
games were kinda little.
majority of the time was spent playing captain's ball.

and for lunch there was canadian pizza!
hahas. very fulling.
my group, which consist of 6 people
had 2 boxes all to ourselves!

the after lunch games were much better
especially the popping balloon game.
it was h-i-l-a-r-i-o-u-s.

honestly.
each sec 1 had to run 5 times round their facil
and then blow up their balloons.
and then pop them by sitting on them.
was so so so funny!
cause they were like bouncing on the balloon
trying to pop them.
heehee.

oh. cheryl and i were cam-whoring.
no surprise here.
heehee.

please please please let singapore win.

i can't believe i forgot about blogging this!
watched the first episode of

it's really really really cool.
and exciting.
it's now playing on starworld at 8pm on Thursdays.

saturday morning feels so good.
cause it's the weekend!

but then, the thought of the pile of homework
sitting beside my bed
is kinda killing the mood.
and thats why i should blog quickly and go do
economics CSQ.

cause i might not have time to finish
considering the fact that i'm going to
my sister's godbrother's brother's birthday later.
kegan's 1 year old!

yupp.
we bought him 3 baby boy t-shirts
yesterday- so last minute

and which are so ultra adorable!

~~and kinda expensive.~~

then we walked through kovan's plant/flower shop area
the area's super big can.
but very colourful, because they stocked up
with pretty flowers for chinese new year !

heehee.
and we tried to take some pictures
sort of successful.

then there's the ihm cat class sec 1 games day tomorrow
which is going to take up the whole of sunday.
which means no time for homework again.
hahas.
i'll make sure i take some pictures of
my sec 1 babies!
they're so cute. and young.
make me look so old.
