PIECES OF ME!

it's 11.23pm and i'm still online.
i'm wondering about it myself.
and no, it's not becasue of football. (for the first time)

a problem has arised. an unnecessary problem.
why it has surfaced? i remain clueless.
but fact is: that problem persist.

small issues blown to big proportions.
which is why it's so darn irritating
cause it's totally UNNECESSARY.

sheesh.

other than that,
today was actually a good day! not exciting, but nice and peaceful.

but sometimes days become too quiet, especially frequently.
i miss cheryl alot! being in the same school/class means hanging out all the time. but now, life kinda becomes duller not being able to talk/gossip/rant with her as i want. which is why i miss school, cause at least in school, there never really was a dull moment with friends.

RE-EDITED//

OMG. my daddy just came out of his room and started watching tv. said he couldn't sleep. HAHAHA. now, i know where my ability to "watch tv till 1am" comes from. heehee.

I'M HAPPY.
had a very very nice dream last night that made me wake up with a smile. heehee. so totally made my day. (=

the only reason why i'm blogging now is because my cable box is down, resorting to me playing the com for entertainment. But, just a min ago, Mr. cable guy arrived! thank goodness he came to fix my cable box. finally able to watch real good shows on tv now! HAHAHA.

first of all, i have to say how SORRY sorry sorry i am for not blogging since 30th november, especially when i said i would. thats because 1) i was working almost every single day of december (except 4 days off), even on christmas itself. 2) beyond that.. well truthfully, i just haven't come online since then. okay, maybe like once or twice.

so i'm going to just blog it all in this entry. so be prepared, cause its gonna be a long long one.

1. TAKA'S GIFT WRAPPING JOB IS OVER!
it's over! and i really miss it alot alot. i wouldn't have believed i would feel that way if u had asked me before the job, but i actually miss it so much!

bad memories like:
- the extremely sore legs i get from freaking standing for 8 hours straight, every single day
- the tired and dirty hands, full of paper/penknife/dispenser cuts, which i hastily paste with plasters as the next customer is already standing in front of me.
-the rushing to the mrt station, esecially when shift ends at 11 plus, in fear that the mrt has closed and we would be stranded in orchard.
- the physical exhaustion of working shifts, especially night shifts which end at 11 plus which by the time i actually sleep is already near 2am and waking up at 7 for the morning shift.
- freaking irritating and the bitchiest of people who are ultra impatient and un-understanding for the smallest of things, such as not giving them that extra piece of wrapping paper especially when i had already gave them like more than they need.

great memories like:
- the many funny and friendliest of people i have made working there, from fellow gift wrappers to customers who are ultra nice (there was this nice woman who gave use royce chocolates to eat because we wrapped her stuff.)
- from wrapping the most irritating of stuff, such as the gift towels which look like cakes, which comes in the tens for wrapping (i think i have wrapped at least a hundred of these) to the weirdest of stuff like umbrellas and frying pans.
- exploring taka during lunch hour or just slacking in the staff canteen. omg! i miss the staff canteen food!
- the many fellow gift wrapper friends who made my job there such a blast, gossiping and laughing all the time, even at random stuff, such as formulating plans on how we could get the nice green kate spade paper bag without buying anything from there.
- our japanese manager, Mr.Yamamoto, or ''yaya'' as we affectionately call him. he ultra cute (note: not goodlooking cute, but funny cute) and looks like a thin teddy bear! we love laughing at his jap accent and funny antics. and he's damn rich! he bought all of us gifts, and very expensive ones. like i got a bobbi brown mini makeup set and lipstick.

i'm so gonna go back next year. can't wait.

2. CHRISTMAS CHEERS

had to work on christmas, but wells, double pay! so i'm not complaining. while last year was bag galore (meaning that my relatives had the trend of giving bags of all shapes and sizes), this year's trend is cosmetics/accessiories. AND I'M NOT COMPLAING ABOUT THEM. (= elizabeth arden and estee laurder have never looked so nice when they're in my hands. i hope this trend sticks for the next year.

3. AFTER NEW YEAR: SHOPPING AND SLACKING
with money$$ now, time to go shopping all around singapore and buying clothes and more clothes, at shops' post new year sales, and getting excited at all the stuff. so fun, finally able to walk around town with no worries. SMILE SMILE.

or else, i'm at home, watching cable tv or reading my long-dued harry potter books. I'M BORED! i realise how the longer i stay at home, the more tired i feel. the emptiness in my head causes me to do random stuff like taking pictures of myself wearing shades indoors while watching the 9pm chinese show.

Photobucket
TEEHEE. (= so retarded.

I NEED TO SHOP MORE SOON, before i start to grow moss on myself.

4. I MISS CJ, AND EVERYONE

no more cj, means dead boredom. i miss cj! the grounds, and knowing that i'll see people at every corner i turn, and laughing hysterically, gossiping, emo talking or just plain stoning. T7! omg. the class, the people, the teachers, the air. GOSH. i told cheryl how i envied her that she's still in school and she gave me the look. HAHAHA.
i wanna go back to cj to visit soon. anybody interested?

ohhwells. at least now, i still have some income to last be a long while. SMILE.
looking at the straits Times's RECRUIT pages everyday in search for jobs now. to prepare for febuary! after jan's recovery period. so that i have more funds to sustain my reignited shopping obsession/addiction.

wish me luck!
(and i really will try to blog soon)
